A tour of Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society

The West Palm Beach Zoo is a perfect place to visit with your children. The zoo is divided into four parts, The Islands, Asia, Tropics of the Americas, and Florida Wetlands. Additionally, it has a water fountain in which children can play, so make sure to bring your bathing suit.

Is it possible to feed the animals?

Oh Yeah!!! it’s possible. The zoo sells $3 bagged food for lorikeet loft or you can pay for the “animals experiences”. 

What about Animals Experiences?

The zoo offers you different “animal experiences”, the opportunity to touch and be close to the animals that you like. Each experience has an additional cost to the zoo ticket, and the schedules of each animal experiences vary based on the animal you choose. The cost of each experience with animals is:

  • Members $30 per person.
  • Non-Members $35 per person.

 
There are different minimum age requirements for different animal experiences.

The ticket prices are different based on the age.

General Admission: Adults $24.95, Seniors (60+)  $22.95, Children (3-12) $18.95, and Toddlers (0-2) Free.

The zoo allows you to bring your own food, snacks, and drinks, plus, you have a “Tropics Cafe” where you can buy food. Around the park, you can find vending machines where you can buy drinks or snacks.

You do not have to worry about parking since the zoo has a free parking area. 

The Hours of Operation: Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The zoo is open 363 days a year and is closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
