Prime Catch

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I decided to visit Prime Catch for a good and fresh seafood for my birthday this year!

Location: In the heart of Boynton beach close to the beach. It is a waterfront restaurant, so you can get one of the best views around the town.

Parking: No issue parking at all. Because the restaurant is located inside a plaza, it has a large and free parking.

Service:  I expected better service. We arrived at 3:30pm and at that time they were not seating anyone at the table because they open at 4:00pm for dinner, but they offered us to sit at the bar and wait for a table. Since we were never called to the table, my boyfriend went to ask the receptionists and found out that they didn’t put us on the list! The waitress who served us could be nicer. She tried to be nice, but the same “nice” comments that she said to us she said to all other tables! She was faking to everyone!

Food quality: We visited this restaurant because we were looking for delicious seafood. The food was really fresh. At the bar we ordered Baked Beef Short Rib Ragu (Cavatappi Pasta, House Ricotta, Parmesan). It was delicious. The meat is extremely soft with an excellent flavor! When we finally got a table, we ordered Grand Platter (Full 1 ΒΌ Lb. Maine Lobster, Ahi Tuna Poke, 6 each of Oysters, Clams, Jumbo Shrimp). It was enough for both of us to share.

Price: The restaurant is not cheap but it is worth it because the food is good. We spend in 1 appetizer and 1 dish around $80.

Atmosphere: It is a restaurant with an incredible intracoastal view. Maybe sitting outside during the summer can be quite hot, but you can also sit inside and still have a great view.

Recommendation: Make a reservation because this restaurant is busy. Try Baked Beef Short Rib Ragu… you will not regret it.

The restaurant definitely can improve the service. May be better training for the front-desk receptionists and the waiting staff.
