Buddha Sky Bar

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Location: Delray, Florida.

Parking: street or you can park in a private parking close to the restaurant, but you have to pay depending of the hour sometime is free.

Service: The service is great. The waiter was friendly and attentive.

Food quality: It is a bar with a Asian restaurant in the third floor overlooking Downtown Delray Beach. Everything we ate here was good. They have a happy hour in drinks and sushi, so we ordered the predator sushi (tempura or grilled shrimp and avocado, topped with eel, tobanja, eel sauce, crispy shallots, and chives. This sushi was really good and fresh) and cha siu bao for appetizer (barbeque pork, garlic, and Cantonese barbeque sauce. It is like a sweet bread fill with sweet pork. It is delicious). We also ordered a dark buddha fashioned (nikka whiskey, simple sirup, bitters, and cholate bitters) this drink was really good.

Price: the prices are great in happy hour. If you go out of the happy hour probably is a little bit expensive. We ordered 2 dish and 1 drink for around $25 plus tip.

Atmosphere: It is an Asian concept with design rooted in Chinese and Japanese interpretations. The 3er floor is amazing not only for the view is for the decoration of the place. I have to admit outside is horrible because is an old building but once you are inside is another world.

Recommendation: It is better make a reservation if you want to go to the 3er floor, because is not too big, btw we didn’t make a reservation, we arrive around 6 pm and the restaurant was quiet. They have one of the best happy hour.

Address: 217 E Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444
